Chinese New Year Festivities, Jan. 22, 2012

On the Eve of the Chinese Dragon Year (1/22/12), we began with a Fire Puja and replaced all the old prayer flags outside. Then Lama Lobsang led the congregation in the White Tara Puja, which included Long Life Pills as part of the offerings. The temple was later opened to the public for private prayers, and the receiving of blessing pills, blessing strings, and red envelopes.
