August 18 to 21, 2018 - The 7th Very Venerable Gyalton Tulku Rinpoche's Visit and Teaching

We are so deighted that the 7th V.V. Gyalton Tulku Rinpoche will visit us and bestow teaching and empowerment from August 18 to August 21, 2018.
About Gyalton Rinpoche
Gyalton Rinpoche is an incarnation of the 6th Venerable Gyalton Rinpoche, a religious head of Chungpo Monastery in Kham, Tibet. He was appointed as a Spiritual Guru to the King of Sikkim by H.H. 16th Karmapa, and also was one of the teachers to GuruVajradhara, the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. The 6th Gyalton Rinpoche was a prominent disciple of the Guru Vajradhara the 11th Kenting Tai Situpa.
In 1983, the 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche recognized the 3 year old son of the Martam family, an eminent Sikkimese family, as the new incarnation of the late Gyalton Rinpoche. He studied under a personal teacher appointed by Guru Vajradhara and remained in the palace of Sikkim from the time of enthronement in 1983 to 1989. After then, in 1989 he came to Palpung Sherabling to further Dharma education and practice under the direct guidance of his spiritual supreme Root Guru, the 12th Chamgon Tai Situpa and Very Venerable late Saljey Rinpoche and Very Venerable late Drupon Lama Tsultrim. In 1992, Gyalton Rinpoche joint normal English medium school in Sikkim and then went to south India for his further studies in a university.
In 2011 Gyalton Rinpoche came back to Palpung Sherabling once again to further his Dharma learnings and practice under his Supreme Guru. Since then he has been residing in Palpung Sherabling and has travelled around the world on behalf of his precious Supreme Guru. The countries he has been to consist of Europe, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, America, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Taiwan and H.K., Malaysia, Singapore, etc..
Schedule
During his visit, Gyalton Rinpoche will give teachings of "Thirty Seven Practices of Bodhisattva" and "Green Tara Empowerment and Practice."
