Dear Dharma Friends:
We are delighted and grateful to announce that Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa will come to Palpung Lungtok Choeling in San Jose on May 7 and May 8 to hold a Consecration Ceremony for the temple, followed by special teachings.
Since the enlightened Buddha agreed to teach, he chose "The Four Noble Truths" to be his first teaching. After a long 18 year wait, we feel it is appropriate to request Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa to give us the teaching of "The Four Noble Truths."
The program is as follow:
May 7, 2016 (Saturday)
- 10:00 am to 12:00 pm - Consecration Ceremony (including Body, Speech and Mind offering)
- 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - "The Four Noble Truths"
May 8, 2016 (Sunday)
- 10:00 am to 12:00 pm - Teaching of "The Four Noble Truths"
- 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Buddha Akshobya Empowerment (including Body, Speech and Mind offering)
