Special Event - Raising Prayer Flags in Half Moon Bay on Sunday, Jan 25, 2015
Dear Dharma Practitioners:
We would like to invite you to join us for an auspicious occasion in which we will be raising numerous prayer flags upon a peaceful hill over the Pacific Ocean in Half Moon Bay on January 25, 2015.
To raise prayer flags is a way to benefit all sentient beings. The prayers, mantras, and symbols displayed on the flags produce a spiritual vibration that is activated, and carried by the wind across the countryside. All beings that are touched by the wind are uplifted and become happier. The silent prayers are blessings spoken on the breath of nature.
The Wind Horse(Lung-ta) carrying the "Wish Fulfilling Jewel of Enlightenment" represents the uplifting life force energies that make things go well. When one's lung-ta is low obstacles constantly arise. When lung-ta is high good opportunities abound. Raising Wind Horse prayer flags is one of the most auspicious ways to uplifting life forces.
